Fine line and minimalism mean thin, precise lines. Small designs can be quicker, but delicate single lines are unforgiving — they require focus and a steady hand, so the time is not always proportional to the size.

Blackwork and ornamental work rely on large, solid areas of black and repetitive, geometric patterns. Even, dense fills and symmetry can take a lot of time, even when the motif looks “simple”.

Realism and shading are among the most time-consuming techniques. Smooth transitions, depth and fine detail require patience — a realistic portrait or an elaborate motif is often work spread across several sessions.

Lettering and inscriptions are priced by size, typeface and whether they are accompanied by graphics. A short inscription on its own can be quick; an elaborate typographic composition with flourishes is a bigger job.

Colour usually means more time on the skin than pure black — solid fills and building saturation have to be layered. If budget matters, the same design in blackwork is often cheaper than its colour version.

A small symbol or a delicate fine-line inscription on the forearm usually falls within the small-design range, from 400 PLN (~100 €), and is done in one short session.

A medium ornament or a hand-sized shaded motif most often lands in the 500–1000 PLN (~125–250 €) range, depending on the level of detail and the placement.

An elaborate design on the calf, forearm or back is usually the 1000–2000 PLN (~250–500 €) range — with more detail, the work may extend into a second session.

Important: a session does not mean a whole day. Its length is agreed individually with the artist and depends on the complexity of the project, how your skin responds and how you feel during the work. Everyone’s skin reacts differently — a given area may come together faster on one person and slower on another. So instead of rigidly counting hours, we agree on a realistic, healthy amount of work, after which both your skin and you deserve a rest.

Large pieces are planned in advance: during the consultation we estimate how many sessions will be needed and how to space them, so that each stage heals well before the next.

We start with a shared vision of the whole: we set the leading motif, the style and how the individual elements are to connect. Even if we carry out the project in stages over many months, the plan is created at the start so that the whole thing comes together coherently.

The deposit secures each booked appointment separately. You pay for the following sessions as you go, rather than the whole amount upfront, which makes it easier to spread the cost over time.

During a long project you can ask about progress and the approximate cost of the remaining stages at any time — we try to make sure you always know where you stand.

You start by getting in touch: you describe your idea, send references and indicate the placement on the body. On that basis we suggest an artist whose style suits your project and roughly estimate the scope of work.

At the consultation we finalise the details: size, composition, level of detail and the number of sessions. This is the moment when concrete figures appear and we agree on the deposit and the date.

Before the session the artist prepares the design and the stencil. On site we position the design on the body, adjust the placement and only then start work — the price also covers this preparation time.

After the session you receive clear healing guidelines. If the project is multi-stage, we arrange the next appointments at intervals that let the skin recover.

Once it has fully healed, within the agreed window, we do the first touch-up free of charge if it is needed. Only then do we consider the project complete.

Before the visit, get a good night’s sleep, eat a proper meal and hydrate. Well-rested skin takes ink better, and you will get through a longer session more calmly — sometimes that is exactly the difference between one and two sessions.

The day before the session, skip alcohol and hard exercise. Alcohol thins the blood, which makes the artist’s work harder and can affect the result and healing.

Take care of the skin where the tattoo will be: moisturised, healthy skin without a fresh tan or irritation is simply a better “canvas” for the artist.

Come rested and with time to spare — without rush or stress. A tense, tired body copes worse with a session, and frequent breaks make the work longer.

After the session, stick to the healing guidelines you are given. It is the cheapest way to make the result come out perfectly the first time and to avoid needing a touch-up at all.

During the consultation we set the scope of work: size, style, placement, level of detail and whether the project fits into one session or is better split into several. On that basis we give an individual quote — fair and transparent, with no hidden costs added at the end.

An effective cover-up has its rules: the new design usually has to be larger and darker than the old one to really cover it. At the consultation we will tell you honestly what is possible and where the old piece forces a compromise in the design — we will not push solutions that will not work.

Sometimes a better idea than a full cover-up is to incorporate the old tattoo into a new, larger project or to build a motif around it. We also price that option individually after seeing the photos.

A tattoo over scars is possible once they are fully healed — usually at least a year after the scar formed. Before we give a price, we want to see a photo: send it through the form and we will assess the options for free and suggest a realistic direction. We do not promise miracles — we tell you honestly what to expect.

Tattoo prices in Wrocław vary widely. In most studios the starting price for a small design is around 200–400 PLN (~50–100 €), and larger pieces are billed per session. Very low rates usually mean cutting corners where they should not be cut — on ink quality, single-use materials, hygiene or the time devoted to your skin. Fixing or covering a poorly done tattoo later costs far more than doing it well the first time.
