At Parvata you will not find a binder of a thousand ready-made pictures. Every tattoo is designed from scratch: the artist draws the composition for the anatomy of the specific placement — so the piece flows with the muscles and complements the body instead of looking like a sticker. On larger projects we sketch directly on the body (freehand), treating the stencil as a map, not a rigid template.

If you prefer a starting point, we also offer original flash designs — unique pieces by our artists, each tattooed only once. A great option for a first tattoo: a proven motif, a short session and full-quality execution.

The studio’s strength is a team with complementary specialities. We do delicate fine line and minimalism, graphic blackwork and dotwork, ornamental work inspired by mandalas and tribal patterns, classic lettering, tribal and neotribal, and realism — from portraits to 3D compositions. Cover-ups — hiding old tattoos and scars with a new design — and powder-brow permanent makeup (PMU) are separate specialities of the studio.

This means we never squeeze you into one artist’s style. At the consultation we match you with the tattooer whose portfolio best fits your idea — and if your project mixes techniques, the artists consult on the composition together.

We welcome people before their first tattoo who need a calm introduction: we explain the process step by step, help choose a placement that heals gently, and design pieces that age well. We also welcome collectors with a clear vision of a sleeve or back piece — for them we plan multi-session projects with a schedule and a coherent overall composition.

A separate group are cover-up clients: people who want to close the chapter of a failed tattoo or cover a scar. We know how much that change means, so we approach transformations with double care — from an honest assessment of what is possible to a design that does not just cover, but delights.

Before you choose a studio — ours or any other — check three things. First: healed work, not just fresh post-session photos; only weeks later can you see whether lines are clean and shading even. Second: hygiene — single-use cartridge needles opened in front of the client, gloves, protective films and certified pigments are the absolute minimum. Third: the conversation — a good artist asks questions, advises, and can say no if an idea will not serve you for years.

Also pay attention to how a studio approaches pricing. An honest shop quotes a project after discussing size, detail and placement on the body — not instantly in a message, without seeing your references. A suspiciously low price usually means savings exactly where saving is not allowed: on pigments, hygiene or the time spent on the design. You wear a tattoo for life — a difference of a few hundred zlotys spreads across decades.

If you are planning your first tattoo, start with three decisions: what, where and in which style. “What” does not have to be a finished design — an idea, a story or a few inspirations from Pinterest or Instagram is enough; we will refine the rest together. “Where” is worth choosing wisely: the forearm, upper arm or calf heal gently and hold up well over time, so they are a great place to start. At the consultation we will clear up every doubt: we will show healed work at a similar scale, walk you through the session minute by minute and tell you honestly whether your idea will age well. Many people arrive nervous and leave with a booked date — a well-run first visit turns stress into excitement. And if you need more time to decide, that is fine: the consultation commits you to nothing.

A tattoo is not finished when we put the machine down, but when the piece has fully healed — a process that takes two to four weeks. That is why after every session you receive detailed aftercare instructions tailored to the technique and placement: when to remove the second-skin film, what to wash a fresh tattoo with, how often to moisturise and what to strictly avoid (tanning beds, swimming pools, sauna, intense sun). No vague advice — a concrete plan for every week of healing.

We are available throughout the healing period: if anything worries you, you write to us and get an answer from your tattoo artist, not a chatbot. Once fully healed, we invite you to a free check-up — we inspect pigment saturation and linework, and if the piece needs refinement, we schedule a touch-up. A standard we consider obvious, though the industry still does not.
